Anna Kola, PhD, serves as a mentor in international higher education development programmes

Anna Kola, PhD, from the Institute of Pedagogical Sciences at Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń, has been invited to serve as a mentor in a prestigious mentoring programme organised by the European Association for International Education. The programme is aimed at a wide range of specialists in higher education – both those starting their professional careers and those who already have experience but are taking on new project challenges. Participation in the initiative also enables the development of leadership skills among experienced experts through the exchange of knowledge, reflection on practice, and work in an international academic environment.

Dr Kola’s involvement in mentoring activities also has a local and European dimension. In the 2024/2025 academic year, she served as a mentor in the YUFE Uni-Me Mentoring Programme, through which she supported international students studying at UMK. Her activities focused on facilitating adaptation to the new academic environment, developing intercultural skills, and supporting the individual educational pathways of the programme participants.
