Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń, in collaboration with Exea Data Centre, invites you to take part in the second edition of the EXEA Cyber Academy. This is an opportunity to see what working in the cybersecurity sector is really like, test your skills in analysing security incidents, and learn about the tools used by specialists.
The EXEA Cyber Academy is a programme for students in their second to fifth years of study who have an analytical mind and a passion for technology. You don’t need to be an expert: what counts most is curiosity, the ability to think logically, an interest in technology and a willingness to learn. Participants selected through the recruitment process will undertake a six-month paid placement at EXEA’s Security Operations Centre (SOC). This is an opportunity to work on real-world security incidents, analyse alerts and logs, and gain an insight into the day-to-day tasks of the team responsible for monitoring threats and responding to incidents. Throughout the internship, participants are supported by experienced EXEA specialists. The programme concludes with an internal certification, and the best performers may be offered the chance to continue working with the company.
How to join?
The first challenge awaits you on the CyberAkademia website. To access the application form, you must complete three interlinked CTF (Capture The Flag) tasks. Participants will then be selected from the applications to receive an invitation to a recruitment workshop at EXEA. The top candidates will be offered a paid internship.
Applications can be submitted until 8 November 2026, at 8.00 pm.
