Edition II 2023 investments in apparatus
The competition received 34 applications (33 meeting the formal requirements), including 19 applications from University Centers of Excellence and 15 applications from members of Emerging Fields. 14 applications received to the HS Council, 7 applications to the ST Council and 13 applications to the NZ Council. All applications were subjected to a substantive assessment by the respective Area Councils. 1 application received in the supplementary call – application from the ST panel.
Criteria for substantive evaluation of applications:
- the scientific level of research conducted by the applicant– maximum 33 points;
- the anticipated results of the work and planned research tasks carried out using the requested apparatus and their significance for the development of EF, CD and the University, as well as an indication of the innovativeness of the planned research – maximum 20 points;
- the legitimacy of the purchase of apparatus from the point of view of ongoing or planned research – maximum 15 points;
- the possibility of co-financing the work or tasks to be carried out from other sources – maximum 10 points;
- uniqueness of the apparatus requested– maximum 10 points;
- the possibility of using the apparatus provided for funding by other entities, especially entities of the University, in connection with its planned provision or as part of the applicant’s cooperation with these entities – maximum 7 points;
- applicant’s readiness for the purchase of the apparatus and its use, as well as covering the costs of using the purchased apparatus and conducting research with it– maximum 5 points.
