CRUSH – Covid-19 pandemic research
The purpose of the contest was to expand knowledge of the pandemic caused by the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus and its effects from the perspective of the humanities, social sciences and the arts. In particular, the contest aimed to address the challenges – social, educational, psychological and economic – caused by the pandemic. The competition was open to academics, as well as doctoral and undergraduate students at Nicolaus Copernicus University in Torun. Both individual and team proposals could be submitted to the competition. Competition projects could involve cooperation with representatives of the socio-economic environment, such as businesses, institutions and NGOs.
Applications to the competition in the form of a PDF file, prepared in English or Polish, according to the form attached as Appendix 2 to these Regulations, had to be sent directly to the IDUB Secretariat (e-mail: idub@umk.pl) by April 23, 2020. Only complete applications containing all required information were considered for the competition.
