Grant competition for funding or co-funding international scientific conferences

The call for applications is open from May 6 to June 6, 2024.

The aim of the competition is to support initiatives by University staff in organizing international conferences that contribute to the achievement of the University’s four key strategic objectives as a research university (4xI@NCU): internationalization, interdisciplinarity, innovativeness, and integrity.

Only academic staff employed at the University in a research or research-and-teaching position may apply for the competition. The applicant must be the sole organizer or a representative of the conference organizing committee.

Under the competition, funding may be granted to international scientific conferences organized or co-organized by the University and affiliated with it, in which at least 30% of active participants are from foreign research institutions.

The organizer may receive a grant of up to PLN 30,000.

During the competition period, each organizer may receive funding only once.

Note: During the application period, online consultations with the competition expert are available. Consultations will take place via Microsoft Teams on Mondays: May 6 from 9:30 to 10:30, and May 13 and 20 from 11:00 to 12:00.
