The aim of the competition was to select interdisciplinary research teams and support the development of their research activities aligned with the four most important goals of the University as a research university (4xI@NCU): internationalization, interdisciplinarity, innovation, and integrity. The competition was open to University employees who had demonstrated significant, documented research activity (including publications, monographs, and the organization of conferences and workshops) over the past three years. Applicants may include existing teams (in one or more organizational units of the University) or new teams whose employees are planning interdisciplinary research collaboration.
