Prof. Arkadiusz Lach among experts at the UN Congress

Prof. Arkadiusz Lach was invited by the United Nations Secretariat to participate as an expert in the 15th United Nations Congress on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice.

This is the world’s largest and most important event devoted to various forms of crime and criminal justice. The congresses are held every five years and aim to facilitate the exchange of experiences and information between countries, governmental and non-governmental organizations, and experts, as well as to promote new measures for more effective crime prevention and the protection of human rights.

This year’s congress will be held in Abu Dhabi on April 25-30. Its theme is “Accelerating crime prevention, criminal justice, and the rule of law: protecting people and the planet and achieving the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development in the digital age.”
