
Grzegorz Osipowicz, Professor at the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń, from the Institute of Archaeology, has been appointed to the Editorial Board of the prestigious journal Humanities and Social Sciences Communications.
The journal is published by Springer Nature and forms part of the renowned Nature Portfolio. Its five-year Impact Factor stands at 3.9, confirming its significant standing amongst international academic journals.
It is worth noting that Prof. Grzegorz Osipowicz also serves as Associate Editor for the journal Frontiers in Environmental Archaeology, actively participating in the international academic community.
Furthermore, together with Dr Justyna Orłowska from the Institute of Archaeology at Nicolaus Copernicus University, he is currently editing a special issue entitled Current Studies on Archaeological Worked Bone Heritage for the highly ranked journal Heritage.
Humanities and Social Sciences Communications is an open-access online journal publishing peer-reviewed academic articles in the fields of the humanities, social sciences and behavioural sciences. The journal features research articles, reviews, commentaries, as well as themed special issues edited by invited guests.
The journal is distinguished by its openness to diverse research approaches – theoretical, methodological, quantitative and qualitative – which make a significant contribution to the advancement of scholarship. Particular value is placed on works that explore new avenues of research, address key social challenges and set future research trends.
