The document, signed by the Rector of NCU, Prof. Andrzej Tretyn, and the CEO of Neuca S.A., Piotr Sucharski,defines the directions and areas of cooperation between the partners. Scientific cooperation will involve planningand conducting joint research projects, exchanging experiences, developing new research tools, providingspecialist and expert consultations, organizing joint conferences and publications, as well as preparing expert opinions and analyses. Educational cooperation will focus on organizing internships and placements for students and doctoral candidates, open lectures, postgraduate studies, and other forms of education. “In many areas we have been cooperating with the company for years, but it was essentially a kind of cohabitation,”says Prof. Andrzej Tretyn. “Until now, there has never been a formal meeting or signing of an agreement between the authorities of the two largest companies in the region. Neuca ranks first among enterprises that have achieved significant business success in the ‘Golden 100 of Pomerania and Kuyavia’ ranking. It is all the more gratifying that we can now formally and closely cooperate with such a regional powerhouse, in the same city.”

“This is a good step toward formalizing our cooperation,” says Piotr Sucharski. “The agreement will allow us toconclude further targeted agreements and work operationally. Many people are already eagerly waiting to take advantage of this.”

The company’s authorities emphasize that graduates of the Toruń university are eager to work at Neuca, and the company annually recruits university alumni. Currently, over 20 NCU students participate in its internship programs. Additionally, the company cooperates with the university within the framework of the Open University, where its experts deliver lectures and classes.

Since 2004, Neuca has been a public company, listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange.
