IDUB Conference 2022

On November 16, 2022, a conference entitled Toward Excellence was held at the Od New Club. During the meeting, the activities to date in connection with the implementation of the Excellence Initiative at our University were summarized.

During the conference, a panel discussion was also held, with the participation of IDUB working team chairs. The topic of the discussion was the Vision and future of “excellence” in the perspective of the Research University.

Those attending the conference also had the opportunity to listen to two lectures. Since November is the month of raising awareness about male cancer, the first lecture was on prostate cancer therapy. It was delivered by Jan Adamowicz, MD, Professor of the UMK Center of Excellence “Toward Personalized Medicine.” The second lecture dealt with the importance of place in human life and was delivered to Prof. Maria Lewicka, MD, from the IMSErt Center of Excellence.
