Training description:

We invite you to participate in the training course “Coping with stress – causes and effective methods of counteracting the effects of stress”. The proposed training and topics relate to the training needs diagnosed in the process of employee evaluation of non-academic staff.

The training will be conducted stationary by Dr. Jolanta Jaworska (an outstanding specialist in psychology with experience as a therapist, coach, trainer).

The trainings will be held in the Bydgoszcz part of the University in the meeting room named after Professor Bogdan Romanski in the building “A” of the UMK Medical College at Jagiellonian 13 Street in Bydgoszcz.

The purpose of this workshop is to understand the mechanism of stress, recognize its first signals and counteract their effects, as well as learn practical strategies for responding to stress emergencies and master stress prevention techniques and effective relaxation methods.

Stress is an integral part of working life. In the right intensity, it is mobilizing and motivating. However, prolonged, severe stress is not conducive to our efficiency and quality of life. In extreme situations, it can contribute to the occurrence of many diseases, both emotional and somatic.

During the workshop, participants will learn about the mechanisms of stress emergence and typical reactions to stressful situations. They will practice techniques, both behavioral and cognitive, for dealing effectively with stress. They will learn methods for regulating emotions in stressful situations and quickly regaining life balance.
