Training description:
We invite academics, research team leaders and doctoral students to participate in a workshop conducted in English on presenting the “meaning” of their research work to different audiences.
The trainings are conducted live, remotely (Zoom app) by Sean McCarthy, a prominent specialist associated with the European Commission’s framework programs for more than 30 years and Sylvia McCarthy, a European Union policy analyst.
How to Present Research Activities to Different Audiences
18.04.2024 r., w godzinach 11:00 – 13:00 (maksymalnie 80 uczestników)
The aim of this workshop is to help researchers and research managers to articulate and present the ‘relevance’ of their research work to different audiences.
Researchers obtain funding for their research work from external funds, the allocation of which depends on the evaluation of their “research excellence” by external experts. Therefore, it is essential to be able to present the results to various audiences involved in the management of research and development funding programs. At the end of the course, each participant will have ideas and skills to use in future presentations.
